What does the basic website include?
Custom web design built for phones and desktops, hosting and maintenance on &investmints servers, an initial SEO setup, 1 revision per 6 months of hosting, and a provided admin panel. A storefront on The Island comes with the premium and virtual plan.
Is the domain included?
Not in the plan price. We can buy a domain for you at an additional cost, set up Google Workspace for it at an additional cost, or connect one you already own to the site we host on our droplet.
Do visitors need to download anything?
No. The Island and everything on it runs in a web browser on desktop and on mobile.
Can my business get a storefront on The Island?
Yes. Storefronts on The Island come with the premium and virtual plan and with partnerships. Prices vary based on the depth of the storefront. Tell us about the business and we will quote a storefront that fits it.
Why do premium prices vary?
A game, a hangout or a walk-in store can be small or very deep. We price each project by the depth of design and the services you ask for, and you see the quote before we start.
Do you offer controller support?
Short answer, yes! But, BEWARE... depending on how involved your project is, controller coding can cause significant delays and increase build costs not quoted.
Why is there a monthly fee?
The website build is a one-time cost to build and you own the website.
The monthly cost isn’t a payment for the website itself. It’s for hosting and maintaining the custom systems on our droplet we build for your business.
Unlike a basic website, yours will have a custom owner dashboard. The more options your dashboard uses such as appointment booking system, quote calculator, customer reviews, and email set up all require ongoing hosting, security, backups, and technical maintenance.
We can also offer a simpler website with lower monthly costs if you’d prefer. We can go over both options and figure out what makes the most sense for your business.
